Trouble Shooting the Laube Cordpack
Situation Solution
Cordpack shorts out
or shuts off and on randomly during normal operation.
Adjust the Snap Connectors. There is a pinch or break in the cord.
Cordpack has overheated and or has a burned Connector. This is caused by placing the Cordpack onto a conductive material Such as a metal table, or exposing the Cordpack to water.
Cordpack will not snap all the way into the Clipper Handpiece. This caused by an obstruction. Check for objects in the Clipper Handpiece or on the Snap Connectors. Check the Cordpack contacts, if one of the tabs is folded down, bend it back into the proper upright position. If you are unsuccessful you can reach us at the Kim Laube Technical Support Line (805) 240-1313

Testing the Laube Cordpack (LCP)
To test the Cordpack with a volt meter, make sure the Cordpack is plugged into the Laube Transformer. The normal reading for a Cordpack can be more but no less than 9.0 VDC on "HI" speed. Set the volt meter on the VDC setting and place the black meter lead on the Female Snap Connector #2 (see "CORDPACK ASSEMBLY DIAGRAM") and place the red lead of the meter on the Female Snap Connector #1. You should receive the above readings. If you do not receive the reading, check for a break in the cord or circuitry and if that checks out OK, replace the Cover Cap Assembly.
