| Trouble Shooting the Laube Handpiece | |
| Situation | Solution |
| Noisy, rattling or ticking | Adjust the blade tension. Replace the following as needed: Latch, Hinge Assembly, Lever, Name Plate Assembly, Armature Bearings. |
| Blade heats up | Oil the blade more frequently and or adjust the blade tension
spring (refer to the
"BLADE ADJUSTMENT DIAGRAM"). |
| Clipper Handpiece heats up | Possible heat transfer from the blade (refer
to the "BLADE ADJUSTMENT DIAGRAM"). Loose washer of debris inside
the motor assembly. Bent armature due to droppage, improper assembly or
worn out bearings. |
| Clipper and power pack are fused together | Caused by blade coolants. Do not spray any blade coolant on
the clipper. Refrigerate clipper for 30 min. Twist the Handpiece one direction,
and the power pack the other to break the seal between the Clipper and power
pack. If you need further assistance reach us at the Kim Laube Technical Support Line (805) 240-1313 |
