Trouble Shooting the Laube Handpiece
Situation Solution
Noisy, rattling or ticking Adjust the blade tension. Replace the following as needed: Latch, Hinge Assembly, Lever, Name Plate Assembly, Armature Bearings.
Blade heats up Oil the blade more frequently and or adjust the blade tension spring (refer to the "BLADE ADJUSTMENT DIAGRAM").
Clipper Handpiece heats up Possible heat transfer from the blade (refer to the "BLADE ADJUSTMENT DIAGRAM"). Loose washer of debris inside the motor assembly. Bent armature due to droppage, improper assembly or worn out bearings.
Clipper and power pack are fused together Caused by blade coolants. Do not spray any blade coolant on the clipper. Refrigerate clipper for 30 min. Twist the Handpiece one direction, and the power pack the other to break the seal between the Clipper and power pack.
